On April 29th, OKAACE members from across Oklahoma came together at the state capitol with a shared purpose—to raise awareness about the life-changing impact of adult education.

Throughout the day, members met with legislators, shared powerful stories, and presented data that underscores the value of adult education programs across our state. These conversations highlighted how adult education opens doors—to better jobs, stronger families, and thriving communities.

Equally important, members experienced firsthand the power of advocacy. By speaking up, building relationships with policymakers, and standing together, they strengthened the voice of adult education in Oklahoma.
